Rosie's Story...
Some of you may recognize Rosie. She was adopted from us back in February of this year. This picture is from then so she's a bigger now. We'll get a new picture soon.

Unfortunately she was just returned to us. She is still as sweet as ever and according to the family that had her she was a really great dog. She just ended up having more energy than they were prepared for. Rosie is just under a year old. She could possibly be mixed with aussie or border collie or a variety of other breeds. The family she lived with named her Georgia. Once we determine which name she responds the best too we'll decide what to call her.

We hope to be able to update her bio soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Bogart Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Bogart, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Bogart.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bogart already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bogart breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bogart paves the way for another one to be saved.
