Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Duster's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Duster's Story...
The first thing Duster did was crawl into the laps of the kids in his foster home for a good snuggle. We took him in for a vet exam and he was diagnosed with heart rhythm problems in both the upper and lower chambers of his heart. We will have to do some tests to see which medications will be the best choice for him but good news is it is not life threatening. He will always be on daily medication but he should live for many more years.

Duster is a gentle soul who needs lots of love and affection. He adores kids and gets long well with other dogs. Duster is 8-10 years old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duster, a Santa Barbara Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Santa Barbara, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Santa Barbara.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Barbara already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Barbara breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Barbara paves the way for another one to be saved.
