Fred's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Fred's Story...
Fred: 18 month old brindled shepard-mix dog. He has been neutered and is current with shots. Fred enjoys playing with his other foster mom's dogs, but he does not play well with Ricky, who he was found with. He can not be placed with Ricky. Fred was found in pretty meager shape scrounging for food in a junkyard on Christmas day. He is a very mellow-tempered handsome boy with soulful eyes. He likes to lay his head at people's feet and be around people who give him affection. He is a quick learner, has already been housebroken, and needs a safe new home where he will get lots of love. This is a courtesy listing so please call Sydney at 910-922-3094 after 4 pm, and anytime on the week-ends.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fred, a Parkton Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Parkton, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Parkton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkton paves the way for another one to be saved.
