Rocky is a 4 yr old, very handsome boy! He is a big ole mantle puppy dog who loves life. You couldn't ask for a more loyal companion. He is very loving & silly once he gets to know you! His favorite thing is to drink some water and then come over & plop his drooly, wet jowls in your lap!!!!! Isn't that special!!!! This fella is not for the faint of heart!!!!
This handsome boy has come a long way in the past 18 months he has been in rescue. Rocky was a drug house dog, living outside with no shelter and very little food. He has gained weight, started playing and has become a talker! He is still hesitant around strangers, mostly men, but warms up when given time to sniff and then move toward you on his own! He appreciates everything you do for him. He is an extraordinary fella. He is still a bit protective of his food and his toy but he gets better every day. For this reason, the big guy will NOT be placed in a home with children. We should mention, once he has a toy, it's his and he won't give it back until he is ready and then he will drop it on the floor!
