While the young couple who bought Carlos at a flea market as a small puppy had the best of intentions, apartment life and being left alone for 10 hours every day were not ideal for him. Now under Kiko's care at a foster home in the country, this young Lab mix born around March 2011 has started learning some house manners. He gets along well with the other dog at the foster home as well as with the cats and the older children. Consistency with Carlos will be key to his successful adoption and continuation with formal training in a controlled setting will benefit him greatly. He has proven to be a good student and quick learner so we feel he has the potential to be an awesome pet for a family that is able to continue working with him.
