Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Columbus, a 14-week-old unbelievably brave, kitten who was rescued as he attempted to cross Columbus Drive (near the merge of Lake Shore Drive) downtown. How in the world did he get there?? If it weren't for a compassionate woman who stopped her car and ran to grab him, this little guys life most likely would've have come to a tragic end that day. Once rescued, it was clear, in addition to being severely underweight, dehydrated and covered in soot, he had also sustained a form of abuse - he had burned whiskers and hair as well as a broken arm.
After a couple of weeks in foster care, this little adventurer is making up for lost time and doing fantastic! You would never know he had a broken arm! (which is healing brilliantly by the way!) Columbus runs, jumps and wrestles with his big foster brother Sweeney (also available for adoption!). Columbus is a total sweetheart and has totally forgiven us humans for his rocky and scary start to life - he now has one more step left to his adventure and that is to find a forever, loving safe home with another young cat or kitten. If you are considering adopting a pair, please consider adoption both Columbus and his big foster brother Sweeney - these two are really bonded and make a dynamite pair of hunky boys!
