My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Reesie! This goofy 4 year old American Staffordshire Terrier is full of love! Reesie was rescued from a life full of neglect about a year ago and has been waiting for her furever home ever since. She is a medium-high energy girl that will need daily exercise-not just a big backyard. Don't let that fool you though as Miss Reesie wants nothing more than to curl up in your lap at the end of the day! Reesie will need a more experienced handler or someone familiar with the bully breeds. She has been in training ever since she was rescued and has come along very well! Due to lack of socialization her entire life, she can be dog selective and would be happy as an only dog, an exception would only be made on a case by case basis. We aren't sure about cats however she did live with one previously. Reesie is good with kids! Please call Britain at 440-822-9455 anytime to meet this lovebug and for more info. She is fully vetted and spayed and even comes with FREE training classes! She is running out of time in her foster home and has no where else to go. Don't let this sweet girl become another statistic.

NOTE: We prefer homes who want to go to an obedience class. Training strengthens the bond and trust that you have with your dog, and it's fun, for both of you! Dogs like to think and to be mentally challenged. Contrary to what many people think, they don't want to be couch potatoes. The training you do together will be an investment in the future.
Please note: You must be at least 28 years old to adopt a dog from us - unless you are able to demonstrate a mature lifestyle. We are not able to adopt to renters, sorry!
