Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Abby – is a beautiful black lab mix girl, about 8 months old, who we found in a local high kill shelter. She was scared and trembling in the corner of her kennel when we saw her. Her life was looking pretty bleak, but she hit the jackpot and is now in a wonderful Lucky Lab foster home. She is on the small side weighing about 45 lbs. Here are some words from her foster mom: Abby is crate trained and potty trained. She has been awesome about coming to get us or ringing the bells on the back door to let us know she needs out. Abby has typical puppy energy. She loves to play and run outside. She has her own toy box inside and will grab every single toy out of it to bring into her crate or onto her favorite rug. She LOVES any and all toys, but especially stuffed, squeaky ones. Abby knows how to sit, lie down, shake, and high five. She has been my easiest foster so far to train to do any of these things. She is a super smart girl. Abby loves to play, but settles down very nicely and really wants to cuddle and be loved on. Abby can be just a little mouthy when playing with us and jumpy at times, but nothing too crazy or uncontrollable. She is great with women and children and has warmed up to my husband, but is still very unsure of other guys.
Abby is in a foster home with 2 canine foster siblings and has a great time playing with them. She also has a kitty buddy that she likes to play with and chase if he runs. This sweet girl would make a wonderful addition to any family. Abby is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies, spayed, and micro chipped.
