Ely's Story...
Hi, Im Ely and Im looking for my new forever home. I am a young girl, only 1 years old, but I am sweet and eager to please. I arrived at the kennel yesterday and got my spa treatment so I am ready to start learning how to be a retired racer. Of course I never did race, I couldnt make it at school but I will make the best companion ever. I love to have my belly rubbed, my ears scratched, and to snuggle up under the covers. I will need some extra time to learn how to be calm and collected like my older kennel mates but the time will be worth your wait. Call Denise today if you want to take me home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ely, a Gerrardstown Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Gerrardstown, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Gerrardstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gerrardstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gerrardstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gerrardstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
