Rex's Story...
Rex was saved from a local animal shelter after his mommy was found as a
stray with a litter of puppies. All became urgent after the shelter got extremely full. Rex's mama is "Roxy," a Lab/Pit Bull mix who is also still available for adoption through Rescued Friends. Rex is a happy go lucky boy who loves other dogs and children. Rex was the runt of the litter but he has the most feisty attitide! Rex is approximately 7 months old. Rex is fully vetted, which includes; neutered, all vaccines, kept on heartworm and flea/tick prevention, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rex, a Arlington Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
