My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Santos - No, he's not a lab, but Santos is one fabulous dog. We think he is a St. Bernard mixed with Springer Spaniel and maybe a little lab, too. He is definitely a "special blend", but is all lab in personality. Santos turned 2 in October, 2011 and weighs about 55 lbs. Santos loves nothing more than being with his people and he especially loves running with the kids in the back yard. He is great with people of all ages and other dogs, too. This guy just loves everyone! We are unsure about the kitties, but can cat test. Santos is housebroken, walks well on a lead and is left loose in the house day and night. He is an all around great dog whose family has fallen on hard times and has lost their home. Santos is not only losing his home, but he is losing his family too. It is breaking his family hearts, but they want the very best for him. This boy has been well loved and is looking for another family to love him. He would do well in any type of home, from the single person, to empty nesters, to a young family with children.
