My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blazer has survived a series of very unfortunate events but is now safely back with us.
Despite his misfortunes, Blazer is as friendly, loving and sweet as he always has been.

He loves other dogs and enjoys playing with them.
Blazer has not been tested with cats, he may try to chase or play with them but does not seem to have the intense prey drive to harm a cat. He might be okay with a cat in the right home with an experienced owner and dog-savvy cat.

He is very friendly and social with all people and has lived with children ages 6 and up.
He loves being right with his people, at home or on the go. He is already housetrained and his wonderful temperament helps him fit in to most social settings.

Blazer is smart and food motivated. He loves training and learns new tricks quickly.
Active and athletic, he would probably enjoy "dog sports" if an adopter were so inclined.

Blazer is a wonderful example of what a Dobie's temperament should be: stable, confident, fearless, watchful, determined, loyal, intelligent and energetic.

Blazer is 4 years old, estimated DOB is Aug. 11, 2007.
He is a very tall and muscular boy and should weigh 80-85 lbs when healthy.

UPDATE:
Blazer is now with Kansas City Doberman Rescue, as they have a foster better able and equipped to care for him during his recovery.
