Nugget's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Nugget's Story...
Nugget was found wandering along a road as if he had been abandoned. We can't imagine why because he is a well behaved love bug, who likes to crawl under the bed covers and sleep by your side. He loves car rides and walks. He is great on the leash and he is kennel and house trained. He knows how to use a doggie door and likes other dogs and cats, but no very young children, please.. He can be a little shy at first, but warms ups quickly. He's a great lap dog who will follow you anywhere you go. It seems all he wants is to be in your presence and loved.

Nugget has been examined by a veterinarian and is heart worm negative and has been started on heart worm prevention. He has been neutered and is up to date on all vaccinations. He is also micro chipped. His adoption fee is $115.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nugget, a Schertz Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Schertz, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Schertz.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schertz already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schertz breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schertz paves the way for another one to be saved.
