My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Want a hiking buddy, running partner, a dog for active kids, a farm companion, a good guard dog, a night-time sleeping buddy, a silly addition to your family that will keep you smiling and laughing all the time? That is Jack - a very happy, "all-Lab" energetic love of a doggie needing an energetic human to love and be loved by.

Jack just barely survived Death Row in a SC shelter, had an eye surgically removed some time in his past, eats like a horse yet is so active he maintains a beautiful athletic build with awesome healthy fur, and is a positive delight of a doggie to have about. Jack is a loving boy, enjoys being petted and interacting with his people, and is totally healthy, Heartworm negative (yeah!), up-to-date on shots and preventatives, neutered and microchipped, walks on leash, is house and crate trained, and is a very aware smart boy, with 'normal' sight though just one eye.

High Lab energy level, medium athletic rangy size,1 yo, totally loving and affectionate;Jack dislikes cats, is good with dogs, has excellent appetite and is always, every time happy!

1-Eyed Jack Fun Facts: Jack loves playing fetch and tug-of-war and will do so with you and/or another doggie; Jack has great hearing and sight and is a good watch-dog; Jack is still very Lab-like active though most of the hyper is thankfully passed; Jack loves his walks and would cherish long hikes or jogs or running on a farm; Jack is best buddies with Wally and looks out for his little buddy; Jack is an excellent athlete and would likely excel in agility or other competitions; Jack knows to sit and loves rewards for anything!; Jack especially appreciates his double loving from Val and I - a learned trait - and just thrives with the attention, plus gives back sweet kisses; Jack just lacks a Furever Home and offers a full lifetime of love plus much more in return... are you Jack's Furever Home and wanting this special happy love in your life? Please email us and make it happen for you!
