Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Gingerbread. My foster family just calls me Ginger. I’m about a year old and I weigh 14lbs. I am very petite so I was able to fit through the spaces of the dog run, so foster mom had to get some other fencing on it so I can’t fit through. I love to give kisses, and be as close to my family as possible. Here in my foster family I have kids that are sooooooo much fun to play with. And I have two beagle sisters here. Playing with them I finally found my voice. For almost the first week I never made a sound, but its kinda fun to bark at them when they are barking at me too. There are also these things here called cats, they just look like funny looking dogs. I play with the big one all the time and then we like to cuddle when we sleep.
In my forever home I think I would like to have another dog to play with. I usually follow what they do since am a little unsure, but I’m building my confidence. I am a little shy and timid in new situations and I get scared when I hear loud noises or if someone makes a sudden movement. I am working on my potty training, and if you ask me it’s going very well. But I still have an occasional accident. I have no problem being in my crate when everyone is gone, but when someone is home my favorite place is on the couch, or cuddling on foster moms bed with the other dogs. At night I sleep on foster moms bed, but the first night I slept in my crate and I had no problem with that, well most of the first night. Foster dad said I was too cute to be left in the crate alone. So he put me on the bed and I slept all night. I don’t get up till foster mom does. So I have no accidents at night. Right now I am learning what is acceptable to be chewed on and what is not. I keep telling my foster brother and sister if you don’t want me to chew on it then pick it up. I think they learned when I chewed their game cord, good thing it was not plugged in.
If you would like to know more about me! just let Midwest BREW know, they have my foster moms number.
