Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Sasha's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Sasha's Story...
Sasha and her siblings had a fine life until their owner could no longer care for them. Imagine how that feels.

Still, Sasha holds no grudges. This friendly little girl remains happy and hopeful about the future. Give her a simple life, a little pat on the head, and you can both count on some very good times. (She loves to head-butt you for fun.)

Sasha is litter box-trained, so no worries there. And she really doesn’t ask for much. Might not be the biggest fan of belly rubs, but definitely would love those back scratches!

Otherwise, all is good. Sasha is ready to earn her spot as your favorite cat in the world.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Houston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
