Babe's Info...

Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier Mix Color: White - With Brown Or Chocolate Age: Young
Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) Sex: Female
Babe's Story...

Babe is a spayed female, DOB September 7, 2010, white Pit Bull Terrier with Amber bulls eye over the right eye.

Babe was abandoned with no food, water or shelter, we believe because she is partially deaf. She was tied by her left rear leg and there is some ligament damage to the leg but she has no problem getting around and is in no pain. The vet believes she can hear out of her right ear. Babe can hear a loud clap of the hand and a dog whistle. She has learned to sit for treats, sits for her leash and her food. She understands out, off, down and no. Her commands are by hand and she is usually more bright than her hearing fosters.

Babe gets along with everyone, even one foster who is dog aggressive who will lick her all over her face. She loves kids and cats, some cats don't like to play but mine will tolerate her licking the ears and face.

Babe is house-trained, spayed and UTD on all vaccines and micro-chipped.

About Our Rescue Group...
Last Chance Rescue was formed in 1997 in order to save animals that would have otherwise been destroyed at area shelters. Giving them a chance at a loving home. We are a very diversified group, saving over 27 thousand animals from kill lists and research selling lists. We provide medical, food, shelter and a loving home until a new family is found. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Babe, a Howell American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Howell, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Howell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Howell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Howell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Howell paves the way for another one to be saved.
