Mr. Bob's Story...
Mr. Bob is a 6 yr old declawed Manx who came to us when his owner moved. He has been an indoor only cat. Mr. Bob has not lived with any other animals but has learned to live with several other older laid back cats at our Cattery. He likes to play with boxes, string, and catnip. He is a friendly, cuddly lap cat who is a bit shy when meeting new people. He is a very sweet boy and quite handsome too. As with all cats adopted through PAWS, Mr. Bob has been neutered, vetted, vaccinated-including rabies, and microchipped

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Bob, a Bainbridge Island Manx cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Manx for sale in Bainbridge Island, or seeking a Manx cat from a breeder in Bainbridge Island.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bainbridge Island already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bainbridge Island breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Manx breeders who help with Manx rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bainbridge Island paves the way for another one to be saved.
