Hailey's Story...
Hailey is a 7 yr old female mediumhaired DECLAWED Torbie who came to us when her owner moved into assisted living .Her owner says "Hailey is a playful girl who likes to play with balls, crazy circles, squeaky and stuffed toys. She likes to sit in the window watching the birds She has never lived with other animals or children". Since coming to us Hailey has been somewhat shy with us. She has gotten used to the other cats who are in the "senior loft" with her. I have petted her on occasion but she is not yet coming out to say hello when we go in to feed and clean. As with all cats adopted through PAWs she has been spayed., vetted, vaccinated and chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hailey, a Kingston Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Kingston, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Kingston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingston paves the way for another one to be saved.
