Jackpot's Story...
This 6 month old Coonie boy will bring love and laughter into your life. This happy little fellow is now in foster care in Tennessee and is an easy keeper. Jackpot is very social with people and seeks out attention. He also does fine with the adult dogs in his foster home and is always in the middle of whatever is going on; he has now discovered the joy of chasing a tennis ball. He is cratetrained and housetrained and sleeps quietly in the crate at night. Jackpot is quiet and very well-behaved; he doesn't jump up on people and doesn't puppy nip and has good house manners. He currently weighs 30 lbs and his mature weight will probably be no more than 50 lbs so he's a very manageable size. He would do best with a doggie playmate in his forever home. Jackpot is fine with cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackpot, a Dallas Black and Tan Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
