Goldie's Story...
Goldie here. Not only am I smokin’ hot like Goldie Hawn”, but my heart is worth its weight in Gold as well. I’ll brighten your morning like a Golden Sunset and I’ll drive you mad with
desire for companionship like a bandit after a train full of Gold. Get my
drift? I’m Goldie! I’m not trying to be vein here, but I’m a Belgian
Tervuren and that sure means something great. You can do a bit of research on my
sheepdog working breed here: www.dogbreedinfo.com/belgiantervueren . I am so very smart, sweet and affection with people, boy o boy I love people, people are soooo great, I am the best dog ever with people…..ok, ok I’m just trying to beat around the bush here, trying to sweeten you up a bit…the truth is, I am trying avoid telling you that I just don’t like other dogs. Nope, see I insist on being the boss. Now I just love kids, I’m housebroken and crate trained too. Now it shouldn't be too surprising that I'll climb over a 5 foot fence if you don’t spend time with me. I don’t like to be bored. That just means we need to spend a good amount of quality time together, and I need a daily walk or jog…and I know that’s not too much to ask of someone adopting a working breed. Anyways, I’m confident, fun and loyal…I’m pretty much Golden!

2 years old-60lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes; spay, microchip, reduced cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goldie, a Portland Belgian Tervuren dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Belgian Tervuren for sale in Portland, or seeking a Belgian Tervuren dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Belgian Tervuren breeders who help with Belgian Tervuren rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
