Slate-adoption pending's Story...
Slate is a darling, fluffy, curly headed little boy! He is about 12 weeks old. He is mostly black in color with white under his neck and just a tad on back foot. He is very playful. Gets along great with the dogs in his foster home and tries to play with the cats, but they are not quite sure of him yet! We are working on housebreaking and I think he is doing very well. He is about 12 lbs and will be about 50 pounds as adult. Slate was dumped by some many of the other dogs in Tennessee and it has been so refreshing to watch him come into a home, finding fresh food and water and toys! He has had all age appropriate shots and will be neutered soon. Adoption fee for Slate is $375.00. For more information on Slate or to get an application contact kegrescuefoster71@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Slate-adoption pending, a Glastonbury Labradoodle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labradoodle for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Labradoodle puppy from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labradoodle breeders who help with Labradoodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
