My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zoey is Adopted

Zoey is currently fostered in Bluffton IN, and her adoption donation is $250

Zoey is a beautiful 5 yr old buff and white female cocker spaniel.
She came into our rescue from a shelter in IL, where she was surrendered due to small children in the home.
She was reported to be nervous and nippy with small children, so an adult only home is required.

Zoey is doing extremely well in her foster home and is a laid back, quiet, affectionate cocker girl.
She loves to be with her foster on the sofa, or on a lap, she just enjoys the company of her humans.
She is very well housetrained and crate trained, she sleeps in her crate at night.

Zoey is leary around strangers at first but warms up quickly.
We are not sure how she will do with other dogs because she is an only dog in her foster home.
She has been introduced to other dogs on walks and seems to be fine with laid back dogs equal in size to her, but gets growly and snippy with little barky/yappy dogs.

Zoey really is a sweet cocker girl, and would do great in a quiet home where she can be the center of attention, or with one other laid back dog.

Zoey is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and is heartworm negative.

If you would like to adopt Zoey or would like more information on her please fill out an adoption application.

We do not have a shelter, all rescues are in foster homes - Dogs are not shown without first being approved to adopt.
