August is in good health and other than a missing leg she can keep up with the other dogs no problem. She loves to play and would be excellent with another dog in the home. She is fine with children of all ages however she would do best with older children who wouldn’t lean on her too much because of her stability issues.
In most ways August is the same as any other pup her age. She loves company, loves to play and enjoys people of all ages. She is pretty intent on chasing the cats but is really just looking to play.
August will benefit from obedience training. She is very clean and quiet in the home and is fully house and crate trained. She can be left on her own for a normal working day without any issues. She does love a bone to chew on when left in her crate and enjoys someone to play ball with in the yard. Due to her injuries she is a little behind in her training but she is very intelligent, eager to please and with a little loving attention and a bit of patience, she will soon be up to speed.
Overall August is a beautiful, intelligent and affectionate pup that will do very well any family that treats her as a normal pup. The hair on her leg will grow back over time and she will have no problems having three legs. She has a beautiful coat and a lovely smile and she is always happy to see you.
