Doc Holiday's Story...
Doc's photo is pending. He's a sweet boy of two to four years of age and very pretty. He is a 'doll face' in that his face is short but not squished as some persians. His coat was clipped but it's about half way grown back in, so it's clear and clump-free, but he will need an owner willing to regularly brush him. He is felv and fiv negative. Visit him at the Cedar Hill Petco. His adoption donation is $80 cash. If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to our website at http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/TX1208.html and fill out the application located at the bottom of the page and email it to txecr@yahoo.com
Out-of-state adoption fees may vary. We do not ship animals. Adopters must come to get their animal and accompany it back home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Doc Holiday, a Dallas Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
