Leia's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Leia's Story...
3-4 month old female tortie kitten looking for her forever home. 1 of 3 siblings brought back from Nashville, TN. Found under an AC unit with their mother, they were hungry, cold, and wet. The kittens were only 3 weeks when rescued. Their mother has nursed them, and they are all healthy and playful, ready to be adopted! This little one looks the most like her mother. She has a sweet disposition, plays well with other cats, and has no problem with children. We would LOVE for Leia and Yoda to be adopted together, but it is not necessary.

Adoption fee is $140 for this little one and includes all vaccinations and spay. If interested in adopting, email Natalie Burleson at natalie.r.burleson@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leia, a Madison Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Madison, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
