Gracie's Story...
Gracie is a sweet little girl with good manners. She loves to be with people and will stay nearby but is not clingy. She is housebroken and appears to be crate trained. Gracie likes to play with toys and her foster brother and has only chewed either on her toys or a stick she finds in the yard. She loves to cuddle up and never misses a chance for a belly rub. Gracie loves to find a comfy place to snooze and enjoys sunbathing.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Columbia Basset Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Basset Hound puppy from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
