Leo's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Leo's Story...
Beautiful, sweet, loving Leo was rescued one hour before being euthanized at a city shelter.
Little Leo made all of us stop and do nothing else but work on getting him out of the shelter and into safety. Leo has such a loving heart and has been waiting his whole life for somebody to give all his love to. He is the most precious little guy and a true gentleman. He is a Golden Retriever Mix, 2 years old, 55 lbs., neutered, current on all vaccines, micro-chipped and gets along great with other dogs.
LEO URGENTLY NEEDS A HOME OR FOSTER HOME!
Adoption only open to Southern California residents.
AN ADOPTION APPLICATION MUST BE FILLED OUT PRIOR TO ANYONE MEETING ANY OF OUR DOGS.
We do not adopt our dogs to households with children under 10 years old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Van Nuys Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Van Nuys, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Van Nuys.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Van Nuys already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Van Nuys breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Van Nuys paves the way for another one to be saved.
