Hope's Story...
My name is Hope! I’m a very sweet 7 year old tabby female tabby cat. If you’re looking for a kitty that likes to run around and be silly, then come by and visit me when I’m out with my feline friends. I like to pretend that I’m going to attack a toy if it moves around in front of me, but I’m just playing! Once I get to know you, I will settle down next to you while you watch TV. I even like to be brushed if it’s quiet and everyone else is sleeping. Most of all, I love to just make my human friends happy, and if you come meet me, I’ll put a smile on your face!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hope, a Palatine Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Palatine, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Palatine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine paves the way for another one to be saved.
