My story

Hello, My name is Hot Rod and I am around 1-2 years old. As you can see from my photos, my previous owner did not take very good care of me. I was diagnosed with demodectic mange, yeast infection, ear infection and I am under weight.

I am currently undergoing treatment for all the items mentioned above and I am in a wonderful foster home with lots of other discarded animals. We all get along great, but my skin is so itchy and sore. Sometimes it hurts just for them to rub against me. My doctor said it will be about 2 months before I can be adopted. She wants to make sure that I am 100% better before going to my new home.

Although I look really bad, I am really a sweet boy that loves attention and to be loved on. My foster Mom holds me and pets me really gently. There is not one spot on my body that doesn't have a scab or a sore right now, but she promises that I will be good as new soon. She even gives me kisses!!! No one has loved on my like that for a long time.
