This incredibly handsome boy is Baxter. Baxter was turned over to rescue by his owner who could no longer care for him. He was having trouble urinating and was in some pain. We took him into our rescue and found out that he had a bladder stone almost the same size as his bladder!!! We had it removed and he is so happy now. He loves to run and play with the ball. Bax is about 5-yrs-old, heartworm negative, up-to-date on vaccinations and house trained. Baxter will need to be on special food for the rest of his life in order to keep him from getting any more bladder stones. Tired Dog Rescue asks that you please think carefully before adopting a Cocker Spaniel. Cocker Spaniels are a very high maintenance breed. They must be brushed 1-2 times weekly to keep their fur from matting. Grooming cost averages about 60.00 every 6-8 weeks. Cockers must have weekly ear cleanings to avoid infection and costly trips to the vet. If you are not...
