My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ellie Mae is a female shepherd/retriever mixed breed who was born in June of 2011. She is a very gentle and loving little lady. She has a very short sleek coat and and a palyful nature. Ellie Mae is great with other dogs, children and loves nothing more than to romp and play. Ellie Mae can be a little skittish at first but warms up very quickly. Ellie mae is current on all her vaccines, has been spayed and is ready for adoption. Ellie mae will receive a micro chip when she is adopted and is looking for her furever home.

Are you interested in adopting Ellie mae or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.

Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at Petsmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).

We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application for Ellie mae.

Thanks for thinking adoption!
