Coby's Story...
location: Linthicum, MD
Hi, I want to let all of my followers know what I have been up to. I went to a new foster home in January and have been a very "Good Boy". I am working on losing a little weight. I have a new foster brother, a little chihuahua named Elvis, and we get along very well. We share toys and beds, and I play nicely with Elvis. I love squeaky toys and don't tear them apart. I'm a good watch dog, and I bark a lot when friends come over - but I like people of all ages and sizes after I get used to them. I love to go for walks and behave well on a leash (we don't have a fence at my current foster home). Because of all the walks I have slimmed down and now like to jump and run; I'm pretty agile, and can run fast. I'm pretty "low maintenance", mellow and completely loyal. I'm still looking for my Forever Home, so if you think I sound like your kind of boy - please apply for me today! You can see all my pix here.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coby, a Glen Burnie Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Glen Burnie, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Glen Burnie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glen Burnie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glen Burnie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glen Burnie paves the way for another one to be saved.
