Bebe's Story...
Hi my name is Bebe. I am the Momma to the “B” babies. I am a little Rat Terrier mix. My previous owner died and the people who she asked to take care of me decided to call Animal Control on me and my babies. Luckily they picked me up and drove us straight to this rescue where I got to raise my babies. I love to lie under your blanket and snuggle. I am approximately 3 years old. I am very sweet and ready for a home of my own. Please consider me or one of my babies.

To find out more information about this pup please email us at heathershouseofhounds@gmail.com. We will provide information about our process/paperwork and you can request an application there as well. Thank you and we look forward to helping you find your new fur-ever friend!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bebe, a Salem Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Salem, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
