Daisy's Story...
This sweet and silly girl is Daisy. Daisy has such an awesome personality. She is all about loving you and of course YOU loving her! She loves to be rubbed and touched. She has a lot of energy but will stop in her tracks for a pet or pat. She lays down when you pet her and it's so cute. She was an owner surrender, her owners said they had too many dogs, not sure how they could have chosen this lover girl to let go, they have to be missing her! Come visit her up today and see what we're talking about! Thanks to the Shelby County No Kill Mission, this pet has been altered, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and micro chipped prior to adoption

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Shelbyville Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Shelbyville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Shelbyville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shelbyville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shelbyville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shelbyville paves the way for another one to be saved.
