Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pipsqueak and Frootloops came from separate homes. Pipsqueak is one of the kits featured in the video, "Chinchilla Birth Gone Bad" where her mother was allowed to breed nonstop and resulted in a severely weakened momma and two dead kits. The surviving Pipsqueak was left with her mommy who later passed away. She has recently paired up with Frootloops, another single female with a similar temperament.
Both girls are perfect examples of a chins who grew up foul tempered no matter how much love and snuggles they've received. Each are reactive urine sprayers with exceptionally good aim. (We make sure to keep them below eye level). Neither has ever bitten, but they do spit and kack, so act rather scary unless you scoop them up to handle while they're still sleepy.
These girls must stay together. Remember, it's for the benefit of the chinchillas, not for the owners that we recommend same gender pairs.
This pair is by far our most troubled and least likely to become adopted. If you have especially good rapport with animals, these girls would love to be yours!
Adoption fee: $150. Come with complete cage set up.
