Jack's Story...
"Hey there all you wonderful people...if you are looking for a friendly, out-going, adorable, handsome and special little Chihuahua fellow, with a beautiful black coat, then look no further than my kennel. My name is Jack and do you know what?...Valentine's Day will soon be here, and it would make my heart so happy to have a new forever home with you. Being a small guy, you know that I would not take up very much room in the house. My hair is short and that means that I would be really easy to take care of. I would need a small yard to play and run around in, and then at night, would love to be able to snuggle up in a comfy bed in the house, so that I can be close to my person or my people. I love going for walks and would be so proud to walk right by your side. Just ask our great shelter staff to introduce us when you come to the shelter. We just might discover that we are meant to be best friends "fur"ever and ever. So, I'll keep watching for you, and I hope to see you and meet you very soon. Love, Jack" Kennel #30

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a El Cajon Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
