Cheech's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Cheech's Story...
Recently we got in several chocolate and tan, smooth Dachshunds. A puppy mill was closed down and many of the dogs were taken to animal control. They contacted several rescues to get some of them out and rehomed. We took in 9 of these dogs. Cheech is one of them. Cheech is unique in that he has a mis-mark, a white spot on his right shoulder. He is learning to use the doggy door but will need diligence and patience with ongoing house training. Very loving and affectionate, he adores people! He has had all of his vetting completed and is ready to find a home. All of these chocolate and tan boys look similar but all are miniature Dachshunds and all are very people oriented and loving.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheech, a Tucson Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Tucson, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Tucson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tucson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tucson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tucson paves the way for another one to be saved.
