Dutchess's Story...
Dutchess is a lovely female German Shepherd who is about 6 years old. She was surrendered to the shelter along with a litter of puppies when the family lost their home.

This girl loves to be petted and loved on. She is housebroken, and knows her basic commands. She needs some more leash work as she will pull when out on walks.

Dutchess has quite a bit of ball drive and is very energetic. This girl acts a lot like a 4 year old dog. Dutchess gets along and loves to play with other dogs and currently living with two other GSDs.

Paste the link below into your browser and check her out on youtube. She is the one who is typically out in front, racing about the yard.
Dutchess is a level 3 dog, due to her need for daily exercise. She is living at a foster home in Fresno

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dutchess, a Cupertino German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Cupertino, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Cupertino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cupertino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cupertino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cupertino paves the way for another one to be saved.
