Mr. B loves people of all ages. He has already passed his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Test. And, he wouldn’t mind going on to grad school! He sadly was too strong for his previous human who became increasingly disabled. He was her therapy dog of sorts and when she passed out, he would help her get back up. He knows the commands sit, down, paw, other paw, has fantastic eye contact and takes treats very gently from your fingers.
Mr. Bojangles is well-behaved in the home, housebroken, crate-trained, walks beautifully on leash and is good with submissive dogs. He is incredibly well-tuned to people’s emotions and would make a fabulous therapy dog. He also has a playful side and is happy to play fetch!
Mr. Bonjangles is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, de-wormed, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. His adoption donation of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Lucky Dog Rescue. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting him, please contact Melia at firstname.lastname@example.org. He is being kenneled in Union, Illinois. Mr. Bojangles has been kenneled for over two years and is such a wonderful dog, we have no idea why he hasn’t been adopted yet!
