Larry and Curly's Story...
Larry and Curly are orange tabbies, approx 3 months old. (And yes, Curly really has curly fur!)

Larry and Curly were born at Frederick County Animal Control in October of 2011. They were taken in by Friends for Life Cat Rescue as babies.

Larry and Curly are a little shy at first, but get used to new people rather quickly. Once they do, watch these two purr machines go! The love to play laser tag, and find the interactive feather cat toys irresistible.

These two boys love each other and would prefer to be adopted together.

Come see Larry and Curly Saturdays at PetCo in Frederick on route 40.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Larry and Curly, a Frederick Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Frederick, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Frederick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frederick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frederick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frederick paves the way for another one to be saved.
