Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Fifteen month old tZeke ended up with a bad first owner who was not taking proper care of him. A dog loving friend noticed this and convinced the woman to give Zeke to her. This second home was wonderful for Zeke but temporary. Rescue was then asked to take Zeke and we happily agreed.
Zeke is a typical dachshund puppy. The other doxies in his foster home are all enchanted with him and he is the favorite playmate of them all. He would love to have a doxie brother or sister in his new home so he could continue with the romping and wrestling.
Zeke is friendly with new people but he is a little shy. Lots of getting out in the world should solve that. Zeke also gets along with cats.
Zeke is a long dachshund and should not be in a home with stairs. He needs daily exercise. He is crate trained (but of course he would prefer to sleep in the big bed).
Zeke is neutered, micro chipped and current on his vaccinations.
If you are interested in Ezekiel (Zeke) , please fill out an adoption application at www.scdr.org and email Lindy at linla@comcast.net.
The tax deductible donation for Zeke is $325.00
