Mousse's Story...

Don't let my French girlish name, Mousse fool you. I like to play just like the big dogs.  I get along great with other dogs, but sometimes I play a little rough.  I'm a sweetie at heart, I love to snuggle with my foster family and their dog.  I am very curious about cats,  and I like to chase them on occasion. And I really like small furry animals, so I would do best in a home with medium to bigger size dogs.  I love to run, go for walks and play. I have a beautiful, shiny coat that is soft as velvet.  I know basic commands 'sit', 'come' and 'stay'. I am working on 'down', 'drop', and 'shake'. I am even learning how to ring the bell to let you know I need to go outside. I would do great in a home with older kids. I sleep in my kennel at night, and do okay for short periods in the kennel during the day. I would benefit from additional dog training. I am looking forward to finding my new family and making great memories! Mt. View, MO  uluth MN

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mousse, a St. Louis Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
