Here is what his foster family had to say:
Carmine is very friendly and social with everyone he has met. He does not show any signs of aggression with people or other animals and is a very happy dog. Outside the home he has lots of energy and loves to run and play. He is great with our dog and at the dog park he gets along really well with all the other dogs. Inside the home he turns into a couch potato and just wants to be in the company of his family. When we are out on a walk he is very curious and tends to want to sniff everything.
Carmine is still in puppy mode and needs someone to be patient with him, as he is eager to learn. He didn’t know any commands when he came into our house but he is learning quickly. He now knows sit, wait and is getting much better on leash. He is fully house trained. He is crated at night and when we go out without any problems. He doesn’t like to go into the crate on his own but once he is in the crate he is fine. At night he will whine a bit at first but soon settles down and goes to sleep. He does counter surf, but when he is told to get out he stops. He has not chewed anything he shouldn't.
His favorite thing to do is run and sniff outside. Inside he likes to get affection and relax. He is quiet in the house. He has barked a little, usually when the other dog has done it first. He loves going for car rides but does need help getting in!
Carmine is very affectionate. He loves people and other pets, enjoys his walks and loves being with his family. He is active outside but once he has had his exercise, he turns into a couch potato.
