Donut's Story...
Donut showed up a vets parking lot one day. She was shy and wouldn't let anyone close enough to her to get their hands on her. One day one of the employee's son, around 11, went outside with a donut in his hand. He sat down and talked to her and offered her some of his snack. She walked right up to him, settled down and shared his food. Donut then let him pick her up and carry her back into the clinic.
Donut has proven to be a sweet girl. A little on the quiet side, she loves everyone she meets. She weighs around 15 pounds and is ready to find that forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Donut, a Greenville Rat Terrier/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Corgi for sale in Greenville, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Corgi dog from a breeder in Greenville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greenville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greenville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Corgi breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greenville paves the way for another one to be saved.
