My name is Glinda!

Other/Unknown Mix for adoption in Rockville, Maryland - Glinda

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Glinda's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, and in need of an experienced adopter.

Glinda's Story...
Still slightly cage anxious due to daily eye drops but learning that barley biscuit follows. Coming along very nicely. Was a late pregnancy spay unfortunately, BES was told by shelter she was a male; had resentment to the spay for a number of months upon intake. Now becoming more trusting and outgoing. Big hay eater, pellet junkie but should moderate. Not big drinker, prefers bowl.

Glinda is now very special needs as she has a shattered tear duct in one eye so it tears all the time and requires eye drops and pain killer for this. She also has a possibly fractured upper incisor although the X-ray was inconclusive. So she is at high risk to develop an abscess at any time. Glinda is now a permanent sanctuary bunny.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Glinda, a Rockville Other/Unknown was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Other/Unknown for sale in Rockville, or seeking a Other/Unknown from a breeder in Rockville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rockville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rockville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Other/Unknown breeders who help with Other/Unknown rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rockville paves the way for another one to be saved.
