Bella's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Bella's Story...
Bella is a 4 year old spayed female brindle and white boxer. She was rescued from an abusive home and has been doing very well in her current home. She still can be timid with new people and would be best with only older children.

She has lots of energy and loves to play, especially fetch. She has some basic obedience training and has been crate trained. She should not be left alone loose in a house yet. She is trained to an electric fence.

She is current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on heartworm preventative. She weighs about 45 lbs. (AE)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Portland Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Portland, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
