My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zenina is a 5-year-old declawed medium hair calico with very fuzzy ears and feet. She is a small cat but has gotten a bit chubby since she was saved from a situation where she was virtually starved. She and her 7-year-old "brother" were turned in at animal control because, as the owner wrote, "No longer an asset to our family." Both were eaten naked by fleas, covered in scabs, skin and bones, and very sick with colds from the pound. Both are now good weight, healthy with beautiful coats! We call her Z or Nina, and she is very sweet natured and very needy for attention, brushing and petting or she squeaks her little meow. She especially loves to lay on her back and get her underarms brushed. She only likes dry food and doesn't have interest in treats. She would be nice, nonagressive companion for another cat and would be a great fit for someone who wants a lot of snuggling. Photos will be posted soon!
