Celtic Warrior "Donnovan"'s Story...
Celtic Warrior or Donnovan as he likes to be called, came to All About Hounds from Ebro, Florida on December 4, 2010. He is a large, red boy who will steal your heart with his sad, dark eyes. Donnovan is shy and a bit uncertain, but is learning quickly that this retirement business is pretty cool. He has perfect house manners and crates well. He is safe with small dogs and children. This gentle boy needs a quiet home that is filled with assurance and love. In return you will have a heart dog who will love you like no other.

Donnovan was adopted by his foster family. He crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge on May 5, 2013. May he and all the others who have gone before him RIP.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Celtic Warrior "Donnovan", a Smyrna Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Smyrna, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Smyrna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smyrna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smyrna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smyrna paves the way for another one to be saved.
