My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sassy and her kittens were abandoned outside Amelia Animal Control … Her kittens got picked up by a rescue right away, so Sassy then nursed two more litters and ran out of milk – and ran out of time. We just couldn’t look the other way. She has been wonderfully sweet and patient from the very start, and she apparently has been well loved, because she’s trusting, cheerful, happy, confident and loving. She was a little worn down from her ordeal, but finally she was spayed and ready for a great home. However, then we think she got into a slap fight with mean old Gus and injured her paw, which became infected, so she has been on the sidelines for about a month, much of it in a soft cast. She's ready to bust out of jail now and would love to find her new family!
